Rowan El. three-phase asynchronous motor with cage rotor can be called "INVERTER DUTY"; they have been designed to work with inverter that uses PWM technique and in particular with Rowan El. vector inverters.
The Rowan “S” type high slip operating system for speed and torque regulation is generally made up of a motor and an electronic adjuster, even if multiple combinations are possible to adapt the system to the applicative needs in a better way. The motor, which is single or three-phase asynchronous, is suitable for being supplied with variable voltage under/by the high resistance massive rotor.
Totally enclosed, three-phase and single-phase, squirrel cage, fan cooled (as IC 411) electric motors, with or without brake.
Three-phase motor range includes: 16 shaft heights (56...355) single speed motors (2, 4, 6 or 8 poles); 12 shaft heights (71...280) double speed motors (2/4, 4/8, 4/6 or 6/8 poles).
The inverters C700 series is dedicated to the control of synchronous motors with permanent magnets otherwise called Brushless AC Servo Motors
